Retrofit Coordination
We are committed to providing a comprehensive and professional PAS 2035 Coordination service to ensure your retrofit projects are delivered efficiently and effectively in line with the latest industry standards.
Our experienced, Trustmark accredited Retrofit Coordinators maintain a central role within the project, liaising with all parties including property owners, assessors, designers, and installers.
We act as quality assurance managers overseeing and collating all the documentation and evidence in line with PAS 2035 standards, to ensure project compliance and quality.
Key Steps in the Retrofit Coordination Process
At Coactivation Ltd., we ensure full compliance with PAS 2035 standards and requirements throughout every project. We begin by liaising with the client to agree on and set the Intended Outcomes for the retrofit project. Each dwelling or dwelling type requires a Retrofit Risk Assessment, and we develop a comprehensive Retrofit Project Plan tailored to the specific needs of the property.
Additionally, we create a Medium-term Improvement Plan for every dwelling, outlining steps for implementation by 2050. Throughout the project, we meticulously document progress, including information from property owners and other retrofit stakeholders. Our close collaboration with clients ensures a seamless Retrofit Coordination process from start to finish, delivering high-quality and efficient results.
Retrofit Design
At Coactivation, our in-house design team collaborates closely with the entire retrofit team to ensure that every design is contextually appropriate for the property and seamlessly integrates with contractor and client supply chains. Our process begins with a thorough review of the current property status, followed by a ‘fabric first’ approach, before considering the integration of renewable technologies.
Adhering to the PAS 2035 framework, our designers meticulously assess each property to identify elements requiring special detailing and specification, ensuring these are incorporated into the final solution. The team takes a proactive approach to addressing queries, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery from inception to completion.
Retrofit Assessment
At Coactivation Ltd., we have a team of friendly, professional, and Trustmark accredited Retrofit Assessors who collect the required evidence and data from properties included in the relevant project. The team work locally within the midlands, and nationwide for larger schemes.
Our Retrofit Assessors work closely with our in-house Retrofit Coordinators to produce accurate, comprehensive and detailed Retrofit Assessment reports through the Elmhurst software, including Condition Reports and Significance Surveys where necessary. They provide data on the detail and analysis of building fabric and services to produce a baseline energy report as well as identifying potential measures and constraints.
Coactivation Ltd. provide wrap-around PAS 2035 services, from funding bid support and pre-retrofit assessments, through to in-house retrofit design, lodgement, and full coordination services, we work closely with our clients to deliver the best outcomes for residents.
